From humble hand tools to semi-professional ride-on mowers, Burrows offer much more than 'browse and buy'... unlike many franchise/high-street retailers, we will ascertain the best equipment for your particular needs, and ensure that you are trained in the usage and care of the equipment.
Tips before buying:
- Consider who will be using the equipment... is it yourself, or hired help, and how often will it be used. Traditionally, groundcare frequency changes seasonally.
- Measure/estimate the areas which need maintaining. From experience, we have seen 'garden' mean anything from a 20ft square plot of grass to acres of woodland. Being aware of the size and nature of the land in question is paramount to choosing the right equipment.
- What type of equipment did you have in mind? Sometimes, we find ourselves advising customers against particular purchases as they may be under-powered, or even sometimes at the other end of the scale over-powered. We may advise you that although ideally you'd love to have a ride-on mower, it isn't practical for your particular needs.
- Budget: Burrows will always try and adhere to your budget. But be aware that buying from Burrows isn't just an investment in equipment... you're also buying into our knowledge, support, and ongoing aftersales.
